I've had some recent correspondence from Marcus Jones in Australia who is preparing to build an SS100 replica from scratch and having seen the quality of his restoration work I think we can expect something rather special. He sent me the following photos of an SS90 recreation over there with a striking rear end treatment.
I understand this was also built from scratch and it is a classic example of what can be achieved. The title of this blog is "Jaguar SS100 - I wish" and I certainly wish I had half the skills of these guys. It makes my attempts seem pretty pathetic. Think I'm going to have to learn how to spray paint though as as I'd been considering taking a brush to my car but am a bit nervous that it would turn out to be a disaster.
